Amik has provided Network & Telecommunications Design and planning services for the French Catholic High School which is now located on the former Prospect School site. The school opened in the fall of 2004.

Amik Technology is working with Kuch Stephens Gibson Malo, Cuthbertson Engineering, Enermodal Engineering, Grey-Nobal School Design Consultants, school staff and other local consultants to design energy efficient, environmentally friendly, state of the art schools.

Provided Panja AMX logic design and programming, cabling, and equipment installation services to Lakehead University for the first Distance Education Multimedia / Video conferencing system installed Summer 2001.

The Smart Classroom project involved the adapting of a 75 seat lecture theatre for the purposes of Distance Learning.

Currently we are working together with Percision Camera and Lakehead University to upgrade a video conferencing lab for the new medical school at Lakehead University.

The original site was done entirely with text embedded in the graphics. It was very well laid out, but the search engines could not read it. Page rank was therefore very low and traffic non existent.

This project was funded in part by Fednor & Industry Canada! This project was significantly underfunded and failed primarily due to funding.

Amik Technology does not believe that this was a successful project. Some of the content of the project has been used but in the end none of the specified back end technology remains following the release of the design to another firm and the customer.

This project was to implement state of the art traffic technology and involve a small face lift of the website content.

The Landmark Inn - This well established hotel has adopted a Jungle Theme for the pool area and wanted to carry that theme through on their Web site.

A1 Sewage Services Ltd.- A1 is a leading provider of septic system services and hydro-vac excavation. Their major competitor launched a web site about a year before A1. Equally important to the project visual appeal was the need to place well in the search engines.
